Erasmus+ is the EU programme for education and training. For teachers, it means the chance to teach, train or job-shadow in another European school. Mobilities can last from just a few days to several weeks.
Why does it matter?
Maltese teachers can join programmes in all EU countries, plus Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Serbia and Türkiye.
How to take part?
Schools (not individuals) apply for Erasmus+ funding. Once approved, staff can choose from partner schools or training providers abroad. EU grants cover travel, accommodation and daily costs.
Erasmus+ makes it easy for Maltese schools to connect internationally and give their teachers world-class development opportunities.
